Krannert Bloggers

About

Welcome to Krannert Bloggers!

If you’re looking for an unobstructed view into the lives of Purdue’s Krannert Graduate School of Management’s students, you’ve come to the right place: the unedited version.

As a tool to help prospective students and applicants, the image provided by the blog entries on this site fully represents the distinctive culture of Krannert.  As one of the most diverse b-schools in the country, it will not be hard to see the different perspectives of all the bloggers and how their backgrounds and viewpoints have shaped their experiences within and outside the walls of Rawls Hall.  And even with all of these different points of view, we have all found a way to “work hard, work right, and work together.”

The clip above is about the Obama administration focusing on science to focus on policy making and generating a stronger economy. It is interesting to think that our country lost eight years of science focused initiatives due to the previous administration. Money was not invested in many of the projects and given the clip, it [...]

My Spring Break

Archives

So I’m chillin in West Laffy Taffy, the center of the Purdue Universe, and it’s like a ghost town. 98% of the students went somewhere sexy and exciting for Spring Break. Me, I decided to stay around and get ready for the real Break. Yes, in 8 weeks or so, I graduate, so it makes [...]

The Simple Definition of Entrepreneurship

What makes entrepreneurs different from others? Why not every people can succeed as an entrepreneur? These are important questions. Basically, successful entrepreneurs have one thing in common. That is entrepreneurial mindset. They always find the needs in the market and then offer those values to customers. They are very passionate about their business and willing [...]

La Paris

Paris is like a perfume bottle – it is very expensive – looks like an innocent, laid back city with shiny designs and architecture but don’t fool yourself into believing that is all, for the city evaporates into flames if you expose yourself to the nightlife. As an Indian, the moment I entered the Charles [...]

Bright Lights Big City

Yesterday I learned two interesting things and one of them could be a problem.  First, future businesses are the way to go.  The guy who spoke to a group of us yesterday said in 1975 he went to work for a bank and a friend who liked to ski moved to Denver and started working [...]
